What will you be doing?

Your role as Treasury Analyst will be to support Treasury activity including Risk Management activities, involvement in projects and liaising with our Operating Companies including B&Q, Screwfix and Castorama.

Some of your key accountabilities will be Producing weekly and monthly Treasury reports, and Treasury disclosure for interim, prelim and annual accounts. You will produce interest forecasts for budget, forecast and 5YP, and variance analysis for actual interest charge. Preparation of interest slide for management accounts pack and liquidity forecast.

You will maintain a database of intra-group loans and facilities including monitoring against facility limits and renewal schedule, whilst also maintaining accurate daily liquidity forecast through discussion with group companies and central functions. It will be your responsibility to manage internal credit rating of subsidiaries to support transfer pricing policy, including liaising with Group Tax.

You will maintain an accurate database of Group banking arrangements and facilities (including trade & supplier finance and guarantees) and responsible for producing Group covenant calculations and ensuring all compliance certificate are issued in line with Group facilities. You will be working alongside our Assistant Treasurer to help with credit rating metrics and supporting analysis and prepare and undertake daily dealing positions to manage liquidity positions

How will I be able to do this?

To do this we are looking for someone with strong technical skills especially in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. You will be a proficient communicator, numerate, methodical and organised with a strong attention to detail. You must be a self-starter with a flexible approach to working and a willingness to engage a variety of tasks.

We would consider both part qualified or newly qualified individuals within a recognised finance qualification with previous experience working in a financial analyst role.
