Reporting to the Director, International Financial Operations, the Senior Financial Analyst, International Financial Operations supports the implementation and oversight of various international financial, treasury, and accounting operations, and controls requiring complex and cross-functional coordination. This position is part of the university’s Global Support team which provides administrative support to the Finance Division and to the International Administrative Working Group (IAWG) - which supports faculty, staff and students who travel and/or work outside the United States.

BA/BS required with an advanced degree desirable. A minimum of five (5) years related experience in a financial environment such as accounting, audit, or treasury required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required. International experience with an intermediate understanding of components of US and foreign transaction processing, cash management and banking products, with specific regional expertise and/or industry knowledge desired. Prior line responsibility in an international setting or international support organization desired. CPA or audit experience, CTP certification, along with experience in an institution of higher education or other large, complex organization is a plus. Project management skills and experience a plus. Understanding of accounting concepts and practices a plus. Excellent organizational, facilitation, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including active listening skills, plus the ability to work closely and effectively with a diverse group of University administrators, including senior financial staff, characterized by strong consensus building and relationship building skills, essential. Must be able to negotiate issues, resolve problems and have strong influencing skills. In addition, the successful candidate should have a good understanding of the effect change will have on the organization, be able to work well with all levels of management, both internally and externally, be flexible in nature, have sound judgment with an open and collaborative style of leadership that encourages teamwork and cooperation beyond the immediate team to the broader organization. Must have a passion for excellent customer service and commitment to exceptional quality.
